Here Lies
Bladder Stick Morris dancing team Plymouth bladder stck morris we have brought some bells with us Plymouth Dan Petley Sam Bennetts

Hello, this was previously the official website of the Bladder Stick Morris Dancing side based in Plymouth. The side is DEAD after the departure of founding member, artist Dan Petley. The side will never get its political structure back together, so lets all just pretend it never happened shall we?

They were a contemporary morris side, who struck a good balance between traditional and contemporary folk dancing. They were members of Open Morris, a fantastic organisation, as thanks to this allegience they performed their public antics legally in a number of interesting places.
They had a striking green and black costume and performed a number of stick dances, as well as some entertaining chants and songs.
They were a serious 'folk' side, meaning that they were a congregation of folk who gathered together to ritualistically declare their allegiance to carefully contrived 'traditions'.

...but now they are dead and gone, however founder Dan Petley would happily be interviewed about what happened, just click on his link above. However, and I really can't stress this enough, THERE IS NO BLADDER STICK MORRIS, IT IS DEAD AND THE WHOLE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE COST ME A FORTUNE.

Yours Sincerely, Dan Petley
